In a Panel sharing with Creating Narratives for Change (CNFC) Festival by the Common Ground, our Trainer Lyna represented our sister company Pivotal Youth to share about ‘What is Community Building?’
“Our community is like a bus interchange. Our purpose is to transport people to where they want to go. We are like bus drivers, we support people who enter our space in getting to their intended destination. There are different routes to get them there, but at the end of the day, we congregate back and we know we’re home” ❤️
Being part of the Common Ground community, we were privileged to be part of this year’s Creating Narratives for Change (CNFC) Festival!
Of the exciting lineup of sharings, Samantha Lim represented Little Pivotal, our sister company to share in ‘A Founder’s Guide: Managing a Ground-Up, a Charity and a Social Enterprise’
“How do we know we are successful in managing our organization? Social media tends to shine the spotlight on ‘turning point’ stories to define successful people or organizations, but this is not the only way to see it. Being successful doesn’t just happen when there’s a major turning point in your story. What if your story is one that steadily climbs?”
